The Faithful Fitness Podcast

Help Us Build a Podcast
That Doesn’t Need Ads.

For years, this microphone has been one of the ways I’ve tried to cut through fitness noise with useful science, honest conversations, and a deeper question: how do we faithfully steward the bodies God has entrusted to us?

This Show Has Had More Than One Name.

But underneath all the changes, the question has been remarkably consistent: how do we become more capable of living the life in front of us?

Long before there was a Faithful Fitness app, devotional, assessment, or 5K, there was a microphone.

In the Defining Dad Bod days, the conversations were often about training, nutrition, fatherhood, responsibility, and becoming the kind of man who could carry what life required of him.

That work eventually became Better Daily—built around a simple idea I still believe: meaningful change is rarely one dramatic moment. It is usually the accumulated result of faithful, repeated action. Get a little better. Then do it again.

But over time, another conviction kept becoming harder to ignore.

Better for what?

If strength, discipline, nutrition, and personal growth are only pointed back at ourselves, we have simply found a more sophisticated form of vanity.

That question eventually brought the podcast where it is today: Faithful Fitness—discipleship for the body.

The science still matters. Training still matters. Nutrition still matters. Hard conversations still matter. But now the destination is clearer: becoming a faithful steward of the body, strength, time, and opportunities God has entrusted to you.

The Name Changed. The Mission Got Clearer.

Hundreds of episodes later, each era contributed something that still belongs in the show today.

The Early Years

Defining Dad Bod

Capability. Practical exercise science, nutrition, responsibility, fatherhood, and the work of becoming stronger for the people who depend on you.

The Next Chapter

Better Daily

Formation. Progress over perfection. Small practices. Better habits. The recognition that who you become is shaped by what you repeatedly do.

Where We Are Now

Faithful Fitness

Stewardship. Faith, physiology, and formation brought together under a clearer purpose: honor God with the body you have actually been given.

The microphone has changed locations. The artwork has changed. The name has changed.
The commitment to useful truth has not.

Why Listener Support Matters.

A podcast can sound free because you press play for free. Producing it is not. Listener support gives us another way to fund the work without turning every conversation into an advertisement.

1

Keep the Work Moving

Research, recording, editing, hosting, publishing, and distribution all take real time and resources. Supporters help underwrite that work directly.

2

Unlock Exclusive Episodes

Supporter access through Spreaker opens episodes that are intentionally kept off the public feed—including deeper and more specialized conversations.

3

Help Us Need Fewer Ads

The more of the show listeners choose to support directly, the less the podcast has to depend on advertising to pay its way. That is the direction I would love to move.

If the Podcast Has Helped You, You Can Help the Podcast.

This is not coaching. It is not Corps membership. It is simply a direct way to say, “I want this work to keep going—and I want access to the supporter side of the show.”

The Podcast Has Always Been a Conversation.

I speak into a microphone on one side. Somewhere on the other side, you walk, drive, lift, cook, think, pray, question, and hopefully take something useful into your life.

If that conversation has mattered to you,
thank you for helping me keep it going.

Train Hard. Pray Harder.
